School begins with new Web site

Monday is the first day of school in Ascension Parish and the first day that parents and the community can get a look at the school system’s newly redesigned Web site.

School Superintendent Donald Songy said the upgraded Web site – still located on the Internet at www.apsb.orgwebsite – will offer visitors a sleek, more attractive look, easier navigation, and more information, that’s “relevant, current and accurate.”

Songy said Internet users will be able to register their e-mail addresses at the site to receive the school system’s quarterly newsletter, breaking school news and news releases.
