Girls Aloud Are Total Mingers
August 19, 2007
WRINKLY Lib Dem leader Sir Menzies Campbell has found unlikely fans in Girls Aloud.
Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding have signed up as friends on the 66-year-old’s MySpace website.
The chart-topping girl band are among 82 surfers listed on Ming’s networking page. Other celebrity fans include US country stars the Dixie Chicks, Noel Edmonds, Rolf Harris and Bobby Davro.
Ming is not the only politician trying to win young voters on the net. Premier Gordon Brown and Tory leader David Cameron also have web pages.
