HOT Telecom to Deploy AudioCodes Media Gateways for Cable Telephony VoIP Project

LOD, Israel, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AudioCodes , a leading provider of Voice over Packet (VoP) technologies and Voice Network products today announced that its media gateways have been selected for deployment into a large-scale cable telephony VoIP project planned by HOT Telecom.
HOT Telecom is the super brand of three Israeli cable companies with approximately 1.3 million subscribers in the areas of multi-channel TV, Internet and data communication and transmission. AudioCodes has been selected as a provider of trunking and CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) media gateways for the implementation of VoIP in HOT's networks. Lucent Worldwide Services is providing network and security integration services for HOT Telecom.
