MatrixView Launches SWISH, a Search Acceleration Solution That Doubles Throughput of Search Pages
Posted on: Tuesday, 21 August 2007, 15:13 CDT
MatrixView Limited (ASX: MVU) today launched its Search Acceleration Solution to speed up the delivery of hybrid web content for several applications. The company has created a new patent-pending technology called SWISH (Speeding Web Information and Search Hypertext) that is unique in its ability to accelerate the transmission of dynamic and hybrid information content. The announcement was made at the Search Engine Strategies Conference and Expo being held in San Jose this week.
Commenting on the new technology, MatrixView's Chief Inventor and Executive Chairman, Mr Arvind Thiagarajan said, "Today the nature of the information content shared throughout the World Wide Web is increasingly more diverse and requires a new standard to accelerate the delivery of information to the user. What is needed is an adaptive data optimization platform that functions more efficiently than existing technologies such as GZIP."
MatrixView's SWISH is dynamic, adaptive and progressive -- making it the fastest means to answer the world's questions. The SWISH Data Delivery Propulsion platform delivers a two times improvement in compression performance compared to GZIP. In addition, SWISH's intelligence structure adapts to changing content enabling the SWISH powered platform to deliver more search results. Because SWISH doubles the throughput of search pages compared to GZIP at every bandwidth, it also delivers the best user experience every time regardless of the connection to the internet.
This doubling of throughput of search improves Click-Through Rates that will result in more clicks per user and quicken the search refinement and zero-in process. Mr Thiagarajan said of the improvement, "This faster search refinement will improve the conversion ratio and user engagement, enabling the consumer to do more in less time."
Significantly, MatrixView's SWISH brings faster search rates to Mobile and Wireless applications through compression that is optimized for all types of page content and every transmission bandwidth.
MatrixView will be exhibiting SWISH technology at the Search Engine Strategies Conference at San Jose, California on the 21st and 22nd of August 2007. Further details of the conference are available at http://www.searchenginestrategies.com/sew/sj07/.
