PriceGrabber.Com Incorporates HACKER SAFE(R) Certification in Merchant Ratings

LOS ANGELES and NAPA, Calif., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ — PriceGrabber.com(R), an Experian company and leader in the online comparison shopping space, today announced that it has partnered with ScanAlert’s HACKER SAFE(R) to continue to help shoppers make secure purchasing decisions. PriceGrabber.com will now integrate ScanAlert’s HACKER SAFE security trustmark into its product search result pages.

In September, merchants certified to ScanAlert’s widely adopted Web site security standard will have a HACKER SAFE seal appear alongside BottomLinePrice, seller rating and in-stock data in PriceGrabber.com product listings. With credit card security continuing to be a major concern on the Internet, online shoppers will be able to quickly find products and services from trustworthy merchants based on this independent certification of security.
