NET Telcos, a Richmond-based provider of integrated internet, data and datacenter solutions for businesses, is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Rodgers to the position of General Manager. He succeeds Paul Diemer, who held the position since 2005 and was recently promoted to a position within parent company Continental Broadband.

Paul Diemer, former General Manager of NET Telcos welcomes Rodgers, “It’s very exciting to have Scott on the team; he has a proven track record in building highly successful teams covering enterprise and government segments as well as several outstanding professional accomplishments that make him uniquely qualified for this position.”

Rodgers came to NET Telcos from TelCove which became Level 3 Communications as of July 2006. Throughout his 21-year career he has held sales and network management positions of increasing authority at companies such as AT&T, Reynolds Metals and Newport News Shipbuilding.

In his new position, he will be responsible for expanding NET Telcos’ data center footprint as well as the scope of managed services currently being provided across the Commonwealth. Earlier this year, NET Telcos announced its entry into the Hampton Roads market which effectively expanded service to more than 100 new customers since the expansion.

NET Telcos services include managed hosting and storage solutions, co-location service, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for outages or interruptions, internet access and managed wide-area-network (WAN) connections.
