InsideSales.Com Hires Jeff Adcock As Vice President of Strategic Alliance Sales
Posted on: Thursday, 23 August 2007, 09:14 CDT
Sales Team Automation, the parent company of InsideSales.com, the leading provider of on-demand Lead Management technologies, announced the hiring of Jeff Adcock as Vice President of Strategic Alliance Sales.
"Jeff is a proven performer in the acquisition and development of strategic alliances with the biggest players in high tech," said David Elkington, CEO of InsideSales.com. "We feel our lead response technology brings great value to these partners and we are investing heavily in this channel."
Mr. Adcock's most notable achievements came as VP of Strategic Alliance Sales at Altiris (recently acquired by Symantec) from 2000 to 2006. While there he was responsible for growing alliances with Compaq, Intel, Microsoft, HP, Dell and others; these alliances were key to growing revenue from $2 million to $200 million in 6 years. His plans for worldwide alliances resulted in over $85 million in revenue.
His alliance with Intel garnered over $2.5 million in investment in Altiris and his alliance with HP resulted in some of the largest service deals in HP history, including customers Proctor & Gamble and Agilent.
"The potential for InsideSales.com to gain market leadership in the fast growing area of online Lead Management is what drew me," said Mr. Adcock. "Their patent-pending technology around triggering phone dialers from a website for immediate lead response is opening up huge increases in productivity for companies who market over the internet."
InsideSales.com offers a Lead Response Management technology that captures, routes, and conferences salespeople with prospects within seconds after filling out a web form.
Prior to Altiris, Adcock served as a Technical Sales Manager and Field Systems Engineer at Novell from 1991 to 1997. He became Regional Sales Manager for Vinca in 1997. After the acquisition of Vinca by Legato Corporation, he managed the Microsoft business line from 1999 to 2000 capturing 26 percent of the Windows NT clustering market.
"Jeff represents a significant shift for us. We are evolving beyond being the first hosted CRM company with built-in dialers and focusing our technologies on web-lead response tools," said Ken Krogue, the President of InsideSales.com. "Rather than competing against CRM companies that have market share, we are partnering to embed our dialer technologies into their solutions. This will be the first of several significant announcements in the area of strategic alliances."
