Worldwide Yellow Pages Revenues Surpass $31 Billion, Latest Simba Market Research Says

STAMFORD, Conn., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Worldwide yellow pages revenue increased 2.8% in 2006, reaching US$31.62 billion, according to new research from media industry forecast and analysis firm Simba Information. Simba projects a slight decline in the 2007 growth rate, then an increase in 2008.

The report, Worldwide Yellow Pages 2007: Americas, provides statistics on the yellow pages industry in 30 countries, with a full, detailed analysis of current trends surrounding the worldwide market. Industry size and segmentation details are included with detailed analysis of the yellow pages market in the regions of both North America and South America.

"The U.S. remains the largest global market, with a 54.8% share of the directory advertising revenue in the 30 countries in this study. India holds the smallest market share at 0.092%.
