StrataLight Communications Names Bruce Horn As Chief Financial Officer

StrataLight Communications, Inc. (StrataLight), the market leader in 40 Gbps commercial optical deployments, today announced the appointment of Bruce Horn as chief financial officer (CFO). Bruce brings more than 20 years of industry experience to StrataLight, having led financial organizations at a number of public and private technology companies.

"Bruce's accomplishments, industry experience, and deep understanding of financial accounting, planning, and regulatory requirements will be a critical asset for StrataLight as we continue to grow," said Shri Dodani, CEO of StrataLight. Prior to joining StrataLight, Bruce was CFO at Oplink Communications, Inc., a manufacturer of optical components and subsystems, where he served as its CFO during its IPO in 2000. Prior to Oplink, Bruce was Vice President of Finance and CFO of Larscom Incorporated, a manufacturer of telecommunications equipment, where he served as its CFO during its IPO in 1996.

Bruce received his B.A. in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, and his MBA in Finance from the California State University, East Bay.
