Microsoft says it will give customers advance notice of its monthly security updates in an effort to help them prepare to install related software patches. * Countering the latest salvo of Microsoft’s “Get the Facts” campaign against open source software, Novell launches novell.com/linux/truth, a Web site devoted to “unbending the truth” about Linux in the enterprise. * Symantec announces availability of Symantec Client security software for two Nokia phones, the Nokia 9500 Communicator and the 9300 smartphone model, which use the Symbian operating system. * Computer Associates releases Wireless Site Management, a tool for managing and securing wireless networks.
