Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (“IIJ”, NASDAQ: IIJI), one of Japan’s leading Internet-access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that GDX Japan Inc. (“GDX Japan”), IIJ’s 51% owned subsidiary, will launch the “GDX Trusted Platform”, a new generation messaging platform for business users, in November 2007.

The existing Internet B2B messaging network is deeply polluted by spam and viruses, has little to no security and is completely absent of universal sender identity. The GDX Trusted Platform is a new messaging service that was created to enable trust by forming a revolutionary and highly reliable B2B email messaging infrastructure with enhanced reachability, accountability and deliverability.

Current anti-spam counter measures are mainly based on filtering technologies, which often result in the refusal or loss of legitimate business e-mail. Additionally, many companies, venders and service providers who utilize anti-spam filters are finding that they constantly need to increase the severity of their filtering rules, further hampering legitimate business email reliability. This decline in deliverability or reachability has prompted GDX to develop and introduce the “GDX Trusted Platform” which provides high deliverability and security as a next generation B2B email messaging network.

Features:

— Provides guaranteed email delivery between GDX Trusted Platform Users Detailed information such as delivery time and other statistical data is provided through a member portal which helps prevent the loss of important email.

— Message Tracking System allows users to check the message delivery status via a member portal to avoid miss-communication which is caused by lack of reachability.

— Time stamp authentication service empowered by Seiko Precision Inc. which is compliant to Japanese e-Doument Law, ensures accuracy and credibility of the time the message was sent. The time stamp authentication supports enterprise compliance policies and enforcement.

GDX Japan is committed to providing a secure and reliable messaging environment to its customers, with a global reach and perspective.
