On2 Technologies Expands Market Presence in Taiwan and India

TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On2 Technologies, Inc. , a leader in video-compression software and solutions, announced today that it has signed agreements with AVIC Ltd, a Japanese corporation that specializes in business development in Taiwan, and ADYA Technologies in India to expand On2's presence in these markets towards increasing adoption of On2's TrueMotion(R) VP6(TM) and VP7(TM) compression schemes and other solutions for media companies, enterprises, carriers, and developers.

As a result of this agreement, AVIC and ADYA will represent On2 through the entire pre-sales and sales cycle across the different market segments, including technical support, testing and commissioning. On2 had previously announced similar representation in Japan.
