Unity Wireless Books Orders Supporting SR Telecom’s Angel and Symmetry Broadband Wireless Networks

BURNABY, British Columbia, Nov. 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB:UTYW), a developer of integrated wireless subsystems and power amplifiers, announces new orders from SR Telecom (TSX Venture Exchange:SRX) (Nasdaq:SRXA) of approximately $300,000 for products scheduled for delivery in the beginning of 2005, to support their angel(tm) system production and production of their recently announced symmetry(tm) WiMax-ready system, being deployed by Telmex in Argentina.

Ilan Kenig, President and CEO of Unity Wireless stated, "Having been a partner with SR Telecom and on the angel system for many years, we are pleased to see the continued commercial deployment of SR Telecom's technology."

SR Telecom's symmetry is an evolution of the angel product and is the only WiMAX-ready Broadband Wireless Access solution currently on the market that combines the most advanced modulation (OFDMA) with the key WiMAX technologies outlined in the latest draft of the 802.16e standard (including diversity, ARQ and space-time coding) to deliver carrier- class voice and broadband data services. symmetry today delivers on the promise of WiMAX by providing best-in-class spectral efficiency and the highest NLOS range available and provides SME-class service and reliability at price points suitable for residential business cases in addition to SME and SOHO applications -- a first in the industry for NLOS equipment. The symmetry solution also includes an extensive suite of network management tools to optimize deployability and operability.

Unity Wireless has been a partner on the angel system since its initial commercial deployment by Netro Corporation prior to being acquired by SR Telecom.
