Sasken Develops Reference Flow Based on Synopsys’ Galaxy Design Platform

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. and BANGALORE, India, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Synopsys, Inc. , the world leader in semiconductor design software, today announced that Sasken, a world-class embedded telecommunications technology solution provider, has used Synopsys’ Galaxy(TM) Design Platform to develop a reference flow to enhance the implementation and signoff process for its complex designs — accelerating design convergence and delivering a time to market advantage for customers.

Sasken’s custom reference flow now includes the following Galaxy technology from Synopsys: Design Compiler(R) synthesis tool, JupiterXT(TM) design planning tool, Physical Compiler(R) physical synthesis tool and Astro(TM) place and route product for physical implementation, PrimeTime(R) timing analysis tool, DFT Compiler(TM) design for test tool, TetraMAX(R) test product, Star-RCXT(TM) tool for full-chip parasitic extraction sign-off, and Hercules(TM) physical verification product.

In addition, Sasken has added Synopsys’ NanoSim(R) simulation tool to its mixed-signal design and verification services, and has adopted Synopsys’ HSPICE(R) circuit simulator tool, CosmosSE(TM) simulation and analysis solution, and CosmosLE(TM) intelligent layout automation software for custom IC design products.
