Avnet Partner Solutions, Americas to Distribute Computer Associates Management Software

TEMPE, Ariz. and ISLANDIA, N.Y., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Avnet Partner Solutions, Americas, a value-added distributor and provider of enterprise servers, storage, software and services, today announced an agreement with Computer Associates International, Inc. to distribute CA's Unicenter operations management, eTrust security management and BrightStor storage management software to authorized SMB and enterprise solution providers throughout the United States.

Avnet will initially focus on CA's Unicenter software, which enables IT organizations to optimize the performance, availability and service levels of applications and infrastructure, from the desktop to the mainframe. In addition to distributing CA's management software, Avnet will provide value- added support services to its authorized solution providers, thereby complementing CA's existing channel training and technical assistance programs.
