LG Mobile Phones and Sprint Introduce Sleek, Sliding Handset

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. and SAN DIEGO, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Building on their strong track record of delivering stylish, inventive and useful mobile devices, LG Mobile Phones and Sprint today announced the launch of the Sprint PCS Vision(SM) Picture Phone PM-325 by LG(R). Built around a compact, innovative sliding form in which the keypad slides down at the touch of a finger to reveal a large, vibrant 65,536-color LCD screen, the PM-325 by LG features an embedded antenna and is less than five inches long when expanded. The handset also features an integrated VGA-quality camera with 8x digital zoom and built-in self-portrait mirror. The PM-325 by LG will retail for $229.99 or $79.99 after rebate with a two-year agreement and is available at Sprint PCS stores nationwide and online at http://www.sprint.com/.

The Sprint PCS Vision Picture Phone PM-325 by LG features integrated Bluetooth short-range wireless networking technology, which enables Sprint PCS subscribers to connect with other compatible Bluetooth-enabled devices within range, such as wireless headsets and hands-free kits, which allow for tangle-free, hands-free talking. It also offers monitor mode, a one-way speakerphone, for hands-free listening and supports two-way short message service (SMS) and voice-activated dialing. The PM-325 by LG is Picture Mail(SM) capable, allowing Sprint customers to take and send pictures to family and friends instantly over the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network. Sprint customers can also download the latest images, ring tones, music tones, games and Java applications to personalize the phone.
