David Willemot Appointed Executive Director of Logistics for S-Y Systems Technologies America, LLC

David Willemot was appointed Executive Director of Logistics for S-Y Systems Technologies America, LLC., a Siemens VDO Automotive (AG) and Yazaki Corporation joint venture company supplying electrical and electronic distribution systems, announced Robert Crumley, president.
He is responsible for logistics planning and analysis as well as overseeing warehouse operations in Chicago, Illinois and Hermosillo, Mexico.
"Willemot's extensive background in quality and program supervision will help S-Y Systems to insure on-time delivery to our Ford Motor Company and Tier One customers," noted Crumley.
Willemot was formerly Executive Director of Quality at S-Y Systems America, responsible for the quality and warranty of all products supplied to customers, S-Y Systems Business Operating Structure (BOS) and maintenance, manufacturing planning for current and future products and International Material Distribution system (IMDS) reporting methods and procedures.
He was also a program manager on the Ford P221 program and sales director for all car programs at S-Y Systems. His previous positions include: program manager with Siemens VDO and Yazaki North America, product design engineer and PMT leader on the Ford Taurus, Thunderbird and Cougar programs for Ford Motor Company, quality development engineer with Packard Electric and nuclear electrician - submarines with the United States Navy.
Willemot received the Packard Electric Excellence Award for the development of the durability-to-field correlation database. He is a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. Willemot resides with his family in Fenton, Michigan.
