Avvenu, Inc., the company that provides consumers with remote access and sharing of their personal media, announced its popular photo, music and file remote access and sharing services are now available for Microsoft Windows Vista computers. Avvenu provides secure, easy-to-use Internet services that allow anyone to access all of the photos, music and files stored on their personal computers, anytime, anywhere.
The Avvenu Access 'n Share service allows anyone to access and share photos and files stored on their Windows XP and Windows Vista PCs from any other personal computer or mobile phone with a web browser. In addition to viewing Windows files and folders, users can also view and share Adobe Photoshop Album and Photoshop Elements collections, tags and photos remotely.
The beta version of the Avvenu Music service allows anyone to remotely browse, listen and share the iTunes music library stored on their Windows XP or Windows Vista PCs. Users can use any personal computer web browser to remotely access their music, as well as a software application on Windows Mobile phones. Users can share iTunes playlists with friends, who can then easily purchase the music.
"The completion of our Windows Vista support is another step in fulfilling our vision of allowing people to easily get to all their stuff, anytime, from any device," said Richard French, Avvenu CEO.
After upgrading to Windows Vista, or purchasing a new Vista PC, users can download and install the new Vista-compatible version of Avvenu software at avvenu.com. Once users have installed the Avvenu software on their Windows PC and created an Avvenu account, this account can be used for both Access 'n Share and Avvenu Music services.
