AT&T Appoints New Marketing Director for West, Central and North Florida Wireless Operations

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Inc. , the nation's largest wireless provider, announced today the promotion of Cindy Matthews to director of Marketing for West, Central and North Florida wireless operations.

Matthews joined AT&T 15 years ago as an assistant manager in Customer Care. She earned leadership roles in various divisions of Customer Care, including Financial Services, Loss Prevention and Customer Lifecycle Management. In 2000, Matthews joined the company's wireless marketing team for West, Central and North Florida, where she has served as customer retention manager and most recently as advertising and promotions manager.
In her new role, Matthews is responsible for managing all aspects of strategic and operational marketing, including customer retention, sponsorships and events, products and services, marketing communications, and advertising and promotions.
AT&T serves 63.7 million wireless customers in the United States and has the largest digital voice and data network in the nation. The company has invested more than $800 million in its Florida wireless network since 2005 to expand coverage and deploy a third-generation (3G) wireless broadband network throughout the state.
