Clearwire Wins Best of WiMAX World USA Award in Service Provider Category

Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ: CLWR) is the recipient of the Best of WiMAX World USA 2007 Award for its high-speed wireless Internet service in the Service Provider Deployment category. The annual awards, announced by xchange magazine, recognize leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX technologies.

Clearwire received the service provider award at a ceremony last night at the WiMAX World USA conference in Chicago. Clearwire's award win will be featured in the November issue of xchange, as well as on the WiMAX World and xchange Web sites.

Clearwire's next-generation, non-line-of-sight wireless broadband network solution connects customers through licensed or secured spectrum. Radio signals are transmitted from a tower to a small, wireless modem, which easily connects a user's computer to the Internet.
