Patrick and Jessica are respected experts that bring technology alive in a fun and engaging way. Whether you own just a cell phone and TV, or build your own Linux servers, you’ll find the information you want and need to tame the technology in your life.”
In the first episode of Tekzilla, Norton and Corbin show viewers how to build a portable power pack for your computer, camcorder or iPod, replacing a $400 device with $60 in parts from your local hardware store. They will also turn viewers into expert videographers in just five minutes and review the Vudu, an HDTV movie box that could give Apple TV a run for its money. Future episodes will feature audiophile tricks for a better music listening experience, how to create a DVD server that will allow you to watch movies throughout your home, and a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Space Exploration. Ongoing features will include weekly free software segments and tours of fascinating places, including San Francisco’s famous Exploratorium, a hands-on museum, The Crucible, a collaboration of arts, industry and the community, and the famous Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC).
New episodes of Tekzilla will become available every Friday at 10 a.m. pacific time at Revision3.com.
Norton, who also hosts Revision3′s Systm, has over a decade of experience reviewing products and helping television viewers solve their toughest tech problems. Prior to Revision3, Norton created the popular online video show DL.TV, and hosted TechTV’s live daily show, the Screen Savers. Prior to her new role as co-host of Tekzilla, Corbin founded Fempire.com and co-hosted Revision3′s inDigital with Hahn Choi and Wil Wheaton. Corbin also served as a segment producer for the Screen Savers and as co-anchor for TechTV’s live television program, Tech Live.
