Yahoo Japan, Mitsui to Launch Brand Goods Outlet Mall on Web

Tokyo, Oct. 1 (Jiji Press)–Yahoo Japan Corp. and Mitsui & Co. said Monday they will launch a Web outlet mall that will sell fashionable foreign brand items at low prices.

The online mall, Premium Brand Avenue, will open at the Yahoo! Shopping site on Tuesday, offering the clothes, bags and accessories of 15 famous brands including Dsquared2 and Laltramoda.

The initial main target will be young people in their 20s and 30s. This will be expanded in the future and the number of brands handled will increase to over 100 in two years, Yahoo Japan and Mitsui said.

The Web mall will be operated by LX Inc., an online fashion goods retailer affiliated with Mitsui.END
