Miley Cyrus Concerts Sold Out

U.S. pop star and actress Miley Cyrus has sold out all of her upcoming 54 concerts, the Seattle Post Intelligencer reported Tuesday.

Cyrus, who stars on the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana, is kicking off her Best of Both Worlds national tour this month.

While ‘tweens are elated at the prospect of seeing their idol in person, many parents are scrambling for tickets to get them there.

Brokers have scooped up thousands of tickets and are scalping them online, with some priced at more than 15 times face value, the Post Intelligencer said.

A lot of parents who made promises to their children that they would get tickets did not anticipate how many people were going after the same pool and how quickly they would sell out, Debra Rathwell, a senior vice president of AEG Live, which is organizing the tour, told the newspaper. The thing that makes them completely crazy is the tickets pop up at broker sites for hundreds and thousands of dollars, and they think it’s unfair.

She falls into the same category where Britney (Spears) was many years ago, said Sheryl Brown, a representative for KeyArena. She is someone to look up to and her TV show helps a lot.
