Solid Information Technology to Demonstrate at IBM Information on Demand 2007

Solid, an IBM Business Partner, together with IBM, recently conducted a joint proof-of-concept (PoC) to show that the in-memory database of solidDB 6 can be used together with IBM DB2 to greatly accelerate access to data stored in DB2. The PoC confirmed that IBM DB2 customers can improve transaction rates by a factor of 40 when using solidDB 6, over a configuration without solidDB 6.
