Epson and Jungo Announce Availability of Jungo’s USBware(TM) Software Protocol Stacks for Epson’s USB Controllers

Epson Electronics America Inc. and Jungo Ltd., a leading provider of broadband gateway middleware, today announced the availability of Jungo’s USBware™ USB compliant software protocol stacks for the Epson S1R72 series of USB 2.0 controllers.

The Epson-Jungo partnership enables companies using Epson USB controllers to take advantage of the comprehensive software support supplied by Jungo.

“With its experience in USB software development and quality customer support, Jungo will be a key partner in our USB business,” said David Lamar, General Manager for Epson Electronics America IC Business Unit.

“This partnership with Epson offers embedded software developers a complete USB connectivity solution,” said Ophir Herbst, General Manager of Jungo’s Connectivity Business Unit. This includes both hardware and software. “The extensive set of class and function drivers that Jungo USBware software offers will allow Epson customers to implement standard USB connectivity quickly for a wide range of USB applications including imaging, media, security, communication, and input devices.”
