GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes, the parent company of GOL Transportes Aereos and VRG Linhas Aereas, has announced that VRG has entered into interline agreements with six international carriers.

Effective from October, VRG passengers traveling on domestic and international flights can purchase tickets to all destinations served by Germany-based Hahn Air, Hungary-based Malev, Israel-based El Al, Italy-based Air One, Mexico-based Mexicana and Qatar-based Qatar Airways. VRG has also recently entered into an interline agreement with GOL.

Besides offering passengers the added convenience of having their luggage checked through to their final destination, these interline agreements also simplify ticket purchases through global travel agents or VRG’s call centers.

Lincoln Amano, commercial director of VRG, said: “Through these agreements VRG offers its customers an expanded flight network providing services to cities where the company does not currently operate.”
