Telecommunications Expert Jamie Moss Joins ABI Research in London

ABI Research announces the appointment of Jamie Moss as Industry Analyst, Wireless. Based in the firm's European regional headquarters in London, Jamie is responsible for coverage of the wireless communications industry, with a focus on Location-Based Services. He brings to the task highly developed skills in statistical analysis and related research techniques.

"Jamie has been immersed in analyzing and forecasting communications markets for nearly a decade, with a strong background in infrastructure, value added services and fiber optics," says wireless research director Stuart Carlaw. "He brings a solid comprehension of both fixed and mobile markets along with a well-developed understanding of complex statistical modeling techniques. He will be a valuable asset in ABI Research's continued growth in the wireless communications area."

Mr. Moss has worked as a telecommunications industry analyst for more than seven years. During that time he has authored numerous technology market analysis studies and developed front-end analytical tools and databases. He has also conducted consulting work on behalf of major industry players.

Before joining ABI Research, Jamie worked at TeleGeography where he tracked the global wholesale pricing market for long-haul capacity and fiber optic networks. Prior to that he was a wireless analyst with The Strategis Group, during which time he focused on wireless service development and infrastructure deployment in Europe. He has also worked as an independent telecommunications analyst and consultant.

He holds a BA in History from the University of East Anglia.
