IOWorld Media's RadioIO.Com Selects Voxel Dot Net As Its Exclusive Content Delivery Network to Improve Performance While Reducing Streaming Costs By Over 50%

IOWorld Media ("IOWorld" or "the Company") (Pink Sheets:IWDM) and Voxel dot Net, Inc., a privately held Managed Hosting Provider and leading Content Delivery Network (CDN), announced today that RadioIO.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of IOWorld Media, has selected Voxel as its exclusive provider of Media Delivery and Hosting services.
The transition to the VoxCAST Media Delivery platform, which commenced over 60 days ago and is now fully functional, reduces the single largest cost component of RadioIO's expense line by more than 50% while dramatically improving the quality of service and channel selection RadioIO can offer its listener base.
"We chose Voxel as a content distribution partner because they provided us with an end-to-end solution," commented Mike Roe, Founder of RadioIO. "The transition to a more scalable and reliable platform has given the Company a path towards profitability in the very near term and represents the most significant improvement in our business model to date."
IOWorld Media selected Voxel after an extensive evaluation of leading CDNs and has benefited through both increased customer satisfaction and a reduction in operating costs. As part of its contracted services, Voxel provides RadioIO with the complete media delivery stack in a supported environment -- managed hosting for the RadioIO.com web properties, trans-coding on-demand of all media assets and global edge delivery of live MP3 and Windows Media (WMA) services.
"Voxel believes in providing supported solutions that meet today's need for both massive scalability and predictable costs," said Sam Machiz, Vice President of Sales, Voxel dot Net. "Our approach of managing all aspects of a client's infrastructure fit perfectly for RadioIO and we're excited to see the Company cost-effectively leverage our solution to add additional channels and listeners, while delivering the highest quality of service across all media formats."
