Fabless Semiconductor Association Presents NetLogic Microsystems With Award for Outstanding Financial Performance By a Public Fabless Company

Posted on: Monday, 13 December 2004, 12:00 CST

NetLogic Microsystems Recognized for Financial Excellence

NetLogic Microsystems, Inc., (Nasdaq:NETL), the leader in the design and development of knowledge-based processors, today announced it received an "Outstanding Financial Performance by a Public Fabless Company" award from the Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA).

Public companies doubling either revenue or net income (no negative quarters, and only using financial results on a GAAP, and not on a pro forma, basis) over eight consecutive quarters ending September 2004 were eligible to receive the "Outstanding Financial Performance" award.

"NetLogic Microsystems repeats its superior financial track record, winning another award from the FSA for outstanding financial performance," stated Jodi Shelton, co-founder and executive director of the FSA. "We salute the company and its innovation in the knowledge-based processor market."

"We are honored to receive this award from such a well-respected association like the FSA," said Ron Jankov, president and CEO of NetLogic Microsystems. "NetLogic Microsystems was recognized last year as a private company for outstanding financial performance and our ability to achieve this kind of financial performance as a public company, especially during volatile market conditions, validates our technology leadership and outstanding teamwork. It is our goal to continue to grow our revenues with established tier one customers as we continue to deliver best-of-breed knowledge-based processor solutions for the industry."

NetLogic Microsystems was recognized with the "Outstanding Financial Performance by a Public Fabless Company" award during the FSA's Awards Dinner Celebration on Dec. 9, 2004 in Santa Clara, Calif. The FSA's annual event celebrates leadership in the fabless semiconductor industry by recognizing companies that have demonstrated excellence through their success, vision, strategy and future opportunity.
