Dish Network Customers Hit By Nationwide Outage
Dish Network customers experienced a major outage on Tuesday due to a "satellite anomaly."
A company spokesman told CNN that the interruption was nationwide, and was limited to just high-definition service in some locations.
According to the report by the news agency, technicians worked overnight to resolve the problem.
Dish first reported the outage on its Twitter account on Tuesday night.
The company wrote on its Twitter last night: "Experiencing an interruption affecting the 129 orbital satellite. We are working as quickly as possible to get your channels restored."
It later went on to say that customers needed to unplug their digital receivers and plug them back in to start receiving the service again.
