TeamQuest Software Enhanced for IBM PowerVM, AIX and VMware Environments

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa, Sept. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — TeamQuest Corporation upgraded its enterprise IT performance and capacity software suite including enhancements for managing IBM PowerVM and AIX environments and new functionality for analyzing and reporting on VMware datastores.

“We’re always looking to simplify performance and capacity management,” said TeamQuest Director of Product Management Scott Adams. “With this release we’ve streamlined PowerVM LPAR capacity planning, for example. Making it easier to predict the performance of several LPARs at once. TeamQuest also added to its support for VMware with new datastore analysis, including new pre-defined reports:

  • Datastore Usage by Virtual Machine
  • Datastore Usage by File Type
  • Datastore Heat Map
  • Datastore Projection

The new release includes many other new capabilities for TeamQuest Performance Software, including Directory Service Authentication, which allows TeamQuest user authentication via LDAP or Active Directory, a time-saver for enterprise IT organizations.
