LERN Magazine Recognizes Mohawk Collegeâ€™s CE Catalogue
Important industry magazine applauds use of QR Code-enabled brochure

For the second consecutive term, Canadian community college Mohawk College has seen its Continuing Education Catalog featured in the newest issue of Learning Resources Network (LERN) Magazine. The Mohawk College Continuing Education Catalog has been singled out for being the first brochure in the field to utilize QR codes.
The article, entitled, Ã¢Å“Mobiles: The New FrontierÃ¢ cites visual examples of the Mohawk College catalog, including pages that feature QR codes of the schoolÃ¢s Learning Exchange and Fennell Renewal website pages. A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of barcode that allows users to access Web information with their smartphone.
LERN Magazine is the leading periodical on continuing education and the magazine has the largest association of continuing education institutes and professionals in in the world, with over 1,100 organizational members. Mohawk CollegeÃ¢s Continuing Education Catalogue has received plaudits from the magazine in the past, winning its Ã¢Å“Best Brochure DesignÃ¢ award.
Mohawk College is a public College of Applied Arts and Technology with three campuses in Hamilton, Brantford and Stoney Creek in Ontario, Canada.
