Sirius Solutions Adds Business Operations Executive to its Energy Advisory Practice
HOUSTON, Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ – Sirius Solutions, L.L.L.P., an independent business consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Derek K. Hall as Director in the firm’s Energy Advisory practice. Based in Houston, Hall is focused on aligning strategic business initiatives and operations with information management solutions and managing the delivery of these solutions in high availability and high performing environments. As an industry leader in business transformation solutions, he brings extensive experience in thought leadership, organizational change management, strategic planning, interim executive leadership, executive program management and business process and reengineering.
At Sirius Solutions, Hall will assist clients in various roles as an oil, gas and utilities operations thought leader, strategic advisor, executive program manager and project manager. His role is to integrate business transformation solutions and organizational change management initiatives across enterprise content management, records management, document management, ERP and CRM systems utilizing Six Sigma, Lean and ISO 9001 approaches.
Prior to joining Sirius Solutions, Hall led many business transformation and organizational change management initiatives. Most recently, he was a Director with Tatum and was the CIO for Draco Spring Manufacturing Company. He has also served in a variety of executive and leadership roles with United Computing Group, General Electric, XL Source, XL Connect and CompuCom.
As a thought leader, strategic advisor and executive program manager, Hall has steered organizations – driven by business growth, mergers, acquisitions and divestures – through the challenges associated with implementing business transformation solutions. In each case, he directed the necessary cultural and organizational changes to integrate business processes. As an example, Hall successfully integrated methodologies for change management by developing cultural, business and functional processes to increase efficiencies in scheduling, operations and human resources for an oilfield services company.
He holds a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University and a Masters in Process Management (MPS) from the University of Texas.
