While many corporations are cutting back Costa Mesa-based Morgan Drexen is providing continued education for its employees.

While unemployment rates have improved in recent months California is among the 27 states that have seen rising unemployment rates. October saw unemployment rates in California of 11.7% rising to 11.9% in September and 12.5% in October. âœFurther training is essential especially in these tough economic times where unemployment rates are so high,â says Costa Mesa Mayor Gary Monahan.

This week, an additional team of Morgan Drexen employees successfully completed a paralegal certificate through California State University at Monterey Bay as part of The Center for Legal Studies, giving them a stepping-stone for their future. In addition the ability to better serve the clients of Morgan Drexen.

Mastroâs was the restaurant of choice to celebrate the many weeks of hard work by the employees.
