MarkleyWorks Announces Holiday Gift Program

December 6, 2011

The quality-of-life software company based in Tampa, Florida, has launched several initiatives to broaden the base of users of the LightWize Owl, an automated personal organization system. Now, under a new initiative called âœGift One, Get One,â MarkleyWorks is offering a free copy to anyone purchasing the Owl as a gift during the holiday season.

Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) December 06, 2011

MarkleyWorks LLC announced today that one free copy of the LightWize Owl will be provided to anyone who buys the Owl as a gift during the holiday season. The program, called âœGift One, Get One,â will be in effect through the end of calendar year 2011.

The Owl is a Windows-based personal organization system. It harnesses the power of data base management but is presented in a simple framework of easy-to-use entry screens and pre-designed reports. The Owl features six interactive modules â“ contacts, events (and to do list), finance, inventory tracking, internet links, and tips (a personally-oriented solutions repository).

Users find they become more efficient, less stressed, more creative in analyzing situations and devising solutions, and better able to focus on important goals and objectives. They also learn how to track their finances and how to plan, schedule, and meet obligations effectively.

One question that the owners of MarkleyWorks get continuously is why anyone would need the Owl if they already have a smart phone or similar multi-tasking electronic tool. âœThe answer to this question,â said Ross Markley, Technical Director, âœis very simple. The Owl is not meant to compete with or duplicate those tools. The Owl is a not a fancy way to gather information quickly from cyberspace â“ itâs a personal organization system that will put any individual in control of the mountains of information that affect our own personal journey through life. Its effectiveness is cumulative ⦠as time passes, our own personal histories build exponentially. Being able to retrieve bits of information or construct complete pictures of any aspect of that history at the touch of a button will become more and more helpful, and more and more time-saving, as time goes on.â

The base of users of the LightWize Owl continues to grow, and more applications for it are discovered on almost a daily basis. Customer testimonials like the one below illustrate the practical and productive dimensions of the system.

âœI am a wife, a mom, and a student, and my life is busy! With the Owl, I have all my contacts, internet links, financial documents, medical history, prescription information, upcoming appointments, and school notes stored neatly on my computer. I can find anything I need without digging through stacks of paper. That means I save a lot of time and avoid a lot of extra work and frustration. I would recommend the Owl for anyone who wants to get truly organized and have some time left over for the things in life that really matter!â – Deanna C., Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

A Student Edition of the Owl is also available. This version has all the components of the original Owl, plus additional modules for tracking classes and assignments. It is designed to help students focus on academic goals and develop critical life skills, including how to organize for success and how to manage a budget.
