Apple iPad 3 Coming Out In Next Three To Four Months
According to a report by DigiTimes, Apple’s next generation iPad will be available in the next three to four months.
The report said that the supply chain has started delivering parts and components for the new tablets to OEM contractors.
DigiTimes said that Foxconn Electronics will begin to produce the next-generation iPads in January and will start ramping up the production volume starting in February.
The report said that the new iPads are expected to push out 9.5 to 9.8 million production units in early 2012. Some believe the latest device could be expected as early as February 2012.
Rumors claim that the iPad 3 would have a higher resolution screen and LTE connectivity.
Apple is not the only company trying to push out a new tablet, Samsung is rumored to also be getting ready to release a new tablet as well.
The Samsung tablet, according to a report by BGR, will feature a 11.6-inch screen and a 2560 by 1600 resolution.
