CES Side Note: Moneual Home Cloud Server
The International Consumer Electronics Show has been known for years as being the place where companies from around the world show-off their latest-and-greatest.
This year is no different, except that it seems as though the show is evolving.
There is less of the impressive inventions for unnecessary tasks like having a robot take out your trash, and more innovations coming out that integrate your life with all devices.
Moneual stuck out in this category with its Home Cloud Server equipped with an Air Purifier. The HC800 acts as an internal service to control security cameras, laptops and other automation devices.
Not only does it have a 1.5 terabyte hard drive, it hosts connected devices in a household through Wi-Fi on a 1.8 gigahertz processor, and it also purifies the air.
The Home Cloud Server pushes air through a 6 step air purifying service, removing 99.97 percent of all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and cigarette smoke.
The subtlety of this device proves that maybe the future of technology doesn't lie in useless gadgets, but more so in integration with practical application.
