Vazata Takes Transparency to a New Level with Web-Based Performance Dashboard
Vazata launches a web accessed dashboard providing clear visibility into key performance indicators across its three data centers and vStructure IaaS platform.
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) February 13, 2012
Vazata, a leading provider of complex managed hosting and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), announced today the launch of a web accessed dashboard providing clear visibility into key performance indicators across its three data centers and vStructure IaaS platform.
Customers (and the general public) can access the dashboard from Vazata´s corporate website and review status and availability across Vazata´s network layer, compute layer, storage layer and facilities layer. The dashboard is complementary to Vazata´s existing monitoring tools and capabilities, simply providing a public view into critical performance levels.
David MacGrandle, COO of Vazata, said, “it´s unusual for a technology infrastructure and hosting provider to pull the curtain back, so to speak, to this extent. It´s one thing to give your customers visibility into performance levels as you operate their solution and adhere to contractual commitments, but to be this transparent with literally any and every visitor to our website sends a clear message about our culture and our mission. We promise stable, secure and scalable solutions. We believe in transparency. We build our partnerships and customer relationships on transparency. This dashboard is one example of how dedicated we are to these fundamental principles.”
Vazata´s three data centers have all passed SSAE 16 Type II audits and the company continues to utilize best-in-class vendors for uptime monitoring and reporting. This new web-based dashboard reports performance status in an aggregate view and through a visual front-end that appeals to a general business user. For example, the Network Layer reporting includes status on internet availability for both carrier and Vazata-managed networks, threat protection across Vazata intrusion detection and other preventions systems, and bandwidth utilization in terms of the amount of traffic being utilized at any given time. The Storage Layer reflects storage availability and capacity across all Tier I, Tier 2 and Tier 3 storage assets, IOPS Threshold performance against defined parameters, and replication status across Vazata data centers.
Vazata is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider serving Global 1000 businesses, U.S. Federal Government Agencies and Mid-Market Enterprises. The company provides highly secure, stable, and scalable technology solutions that meet the challenges of its global customers using a proprietary cloud architecture called vStructure. The vStructure IaaS platform allows for enhanced computing capabilities, accessibility, and fiscal viability in solutions designed to grow with organizations of all sizes. Vazata´s IaaS architecture supports customers in their hosting needs and also provides solutions for disaster recovery and business continuity for mission critical applications. In 2011, Vazata was the first company to receive an Authority to Operate as a cloud services technology provider to federal agencies. The backbone of support is its purpose built IaaS supported by three world class data centers, which have all achieved FISMA and SSAE 16 Type II compliance. Data centers are located in Texas and Northern Virginia.
