FM Systems Awarded GSA, Releases CM-2 Camera Master to CCTV Users
SANTA ANA, Calif., March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — FM Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a GSA Schedule 66 contract and are now certified to provide goods and services to the Federal government. Acknowledging the growth in federal spending through the General Services Administration (GSA), FM Systems has placed their superior audio and video test equipment on the government’s electronic ordering system, GSA Advantage!®.
FM Systems will also market the newly released CM-2 Camera Master hand-held CCTV camera focus meter. Designed to assist installation personnel to determine and set the maximum focus on any camera, the CM-2 is more accurate than large screen monitors and much easier to take up a ladder. The CM-2 Camera Master will display the maximum focus numerically on an LCD type display and eliminates the subjective nature of focus setting, ensuring that all cameras are optimally set to their maximum focus by any installer.
“Being awarded a GSA schedule expands our reach beyond the federal government to numerous state and municipal governments as they can now take advantage of our fixed government pricing on our advanced audio and video products,” states Don McClatchie, COO of FM Systems, Inc. He continues: “We’ve been identifying known issues with video technology and manufacturing purpose built solutions for over a quarter century – and we’re proud to say that all of our manufacturing is still being done right here in our Santa Ana, California factory and distribution plant.”
FM Systems’ HD CCTV line of products support the SDI signal and facilitate the remote control of High Definition cameras. The industry is looking for maximum security from their CCTV security system and with today’s wide range of high definition cameras and long duration video recording it’s easier than ever to achieve a high degree of security observation and recording. Improvements in the pixel count of cameras and video equalization of the transmitted signal guarantee the delivery of excellent sharp and clear video images.
