BetterWeekdays Aims to Help Top-Tier MBA Professionals Find the Right Fit

CHICAGO, April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — BetterWeekdays (http://www.betterweekdays.com/), an exclusive online community for MBA alumni (and alumni-to-be) from top-tier business schools, today introduced its platform to the public. BetterWeekdays aims to build a community of MBA professionals for the purposes of leadership development, relevant connections, and career enhancement to encourage people to be better. BetterWeekdays is currently in its alpha product stage, and additional features and enhancements are on the horizon.

Founded by a Kellogg School of Management alum Chris Motley, BetterWeekdays centralizes the alumni networks of the top-tier MBA programs through LinkedIn and Facebook integration. The platform provides each member an industry-leading assessment that captures the convergence of their values, interests, skills, and style as they relate to leadership development and career enhancement. An algorithm then analyzes attributes of the community to determine the most relevant opportunities (career and network) that support lifetime professional growth.

Through the detailed assessment, BetterWeekdays matches alums with each other based on each individual’s unique attributes that, when combined with an organization or role, would ensure optimal performance. They also utilize information gathered from social media such as work history, school, and activities. BetterWeekdays offers a completely curated system of a self-selecting community of MBA professionals and allows them to leverage their valuable alumni networks for the purposes of fulfilling job placement, mentorship, and career development.
