Denver, CO (PRWEB) April 26, 2012

Andrew Hawley, from Vintage Rock Posters, announces his search for original Rolling Stones Reynolds Coliseum concert posters. The show was held on November 10, 1965 in Raleigh, North Carolina at North Carolina State University.

According to Hawley, “This concert was part of the Stones second American tour in 1965. The Stones had released the “Out of Our Heads ” album that summer, which included top singles “Satisfaction” and “The Last Time”. The Stones played two other venues in North Carolina – the Charlotte Coliseum and the Greensboro Coliseum.”

Hawley continues, “All three North Carolina shows used the same Rolling Stones concert poster. Venue information was changed for each concert. The posters were printed by the Globe Poster Corporation located in Baltimore, Maryland, and came in two different sizes 22 x 28 and 22 x 33 inches.

The posters added hit song titles like “Satisfaction ” and used attention getting bright neon colors. The same poster design was used for concerts at the New Haven Arena and for two shows in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Stones did a matinee show in Fort Worth and a night show in Dallas. Two different posters were printed for the Fort Worth, and Dallas shows even though the cities are only 30 miles apart. It is hard to believe the Rolling Stones have been touring now for almost 50 years.”

If you happen to have this Rolling stones boxing style concert poster or any other 1963-1966 Rolling Stones concert poster, Hawley is willing to pay $5,000 cash for each poster. Please call 310-346-1965 or email andrew(at)vintageconcertposterbuyer(dot)com.
