MicroTech Awarded VA Tech Support Contract
VIENNA, Va., May 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — MicroTech, a leading technology and systems integrator, announced today that they have been awarded a Federal prime contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), with a maximum value of $500 Million. The potential contract length is five years. MicroTech is partnering with Dell and Microsoft on this contract.
Under the enterprise agreement, this new contract is in support of the VA’s overall operation, management, implementation and use of Microsoft Enterprise Services. MicroTech will provide dedicated technical support representatives and subject matter experts provided via Microsoft Enterprise Services to support and assist VA in overall operation, management, implementation and use of products included in this order in order to fully leverage, support, and deploy the Microsoft enterprise product capabilities and best practices required by an enterprise the size of VA. Additionally, VA may require Microsoft (MS) software licenses and/or software assurance for a broad range of MS products by exercising various options. MicroTech is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a Dell Federal Authorized Letter of Supply Holder.
