Laptop Power UK has become one of the leading suppliers of replacement laptop chargers and laptop screens, not only in the UK but throughout Europe. Providing original and OEM replacements this growth has been attributed to the fine quality of parts but at discount prices. With the market flooded with extremely cheap options, sometimes it pays to go for an original replacement as people seem to be realising.

When speaking to Laptop Power UK director Andrew Roughley he explained how the past 12 months have gone and where they hope to be towards the end of 2012. “During 2011 Laptop Power UK diversified its´ range into the Laptop Battery market”. “This has proved to be a successful venture as we feel there was a specific gap in the market that was crying out to be filled with some top end options” he continued. “We were already a leader in the original replacement laptop charger and laptop screen market and so we have used this expertise to diversify into laptop batteries”. “With or fantastic supplier links we were confident that we could bring original batteries to the UK and European market but with significant discounts compared to the laptop manufacturer”.

The majority of Laptop Power UK´s replacement batteries are original branded and as such do not come with the same complications of generic replacements. A generic replacement may not have the necessary software compatibility of an original battery and so when you plug it into the laptop it may simply not be recognised. Sometimes a BIOS software update can cure this problem but in many instances you may just have to return the battery to the supplier. A good battery will have a higher performance than its counterparts. The cells within the battery will be made with better materials and will be able to both hold more charge and withstand the repeated charge and discharge cycles a laptop battery undergoes.
