Advanstar Announces Adele Hartwick as Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Controller
LOS ANGELES, May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Advanstar, one of the world’s largest producers of trade shows and events, has hired Adele Hartwick as Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Controller. Hartwick will lead the company’s day to day financial operations from Advanstar’s Duluth office, where it currently employs over 70 staff members that work in infrastructure operations. Hartwick, who is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Duluth, will join Advanstar on June 1.

Hartwick rejoins Advanstar after retiring from the company in 2007. In her previous role at Advanstar Hartwick managed over 100 people, provided leadership on strategic planning and budgeting, financial accounting and reporting including SEC compliance and all aspects of treasury operations.
