DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. Is Awarded Recycled Water Customer of the Year For Its Santa Clara Data Center
WASHINGTON, May 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. (NYSE: DFT) announced today that its SC1 data center located in Santa Clara, California has received the Recycled Water Customer of the Year award from the WateReuse Association California Section. This selection was made by the 2012 California Annual Conference Awards Sub-Committee members and the WateReuse California Board.

SC1 is one of the largest data centers located in Silicon Valley. It is constructed in two identical phases, each comprising 18.2 megawatts of available critical load power capacity and approximately 88,000 square feet of computing space. SC1 obtained LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
“We are pleased to have been a recipient of this award,” commented Hossein Fateh, President and Chief Executive Officer, of DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. “Not only is our commitment to provide our tenants with an efficient and cost effective solution for their data center requirements, but also to build environmentally conscious data centers.”
