T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm, announced today that nominations have opened now through July 13, for the ISE® Northeast Awards 2012. Awards presented will include Information Security Executive® Awards for both Executive and Project categories.
Winners, finalists and qualified nominees will be recognized at the ISE® Northeast Executive Forum and Awards to be held October 4, 2012 at the Westin Times Square, NY. The ISE® Northeast Awards are held in conjunction with a one day Executive Forum which includes keynote speakers, interactive roundtables moderated by CISOs and VPs of participating companies, and panel discussions. Finalists and winners in both categories are announced at the Awards Gala that evening and are recognized through press coverage and inclusion on the T.E.N. and ISE® websites.
The ISE® Northeast Award for the Executive Category is given to a chief information security executive who has made a positive impact through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and information security. In addition, the ISE® Northeast Award for the Project Category will recognize an information security project completed in the past 12-18 months that has had a positive impact on an organization´s risk management or information security posture. Eligible nominees are selected from the U.S. Northeast region including Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington DC.
Executives or project teams can be self-nominated in addition to entries by supervisors, employees, peers, or technology partners. In addition to the questions that are to be completed for judging, the nomination form contains information on the history of the awards, judging process, award criteria and next steps. All nominations are sent to T.E.N.´s distinguished panel of ISE® judges for review and scoring.
