WISeKey Signs a Strategic Partnership with Bright Oceans Corporation BOCO Inter-Telecom to Deploy WISeID in China

BEIJING and GENEVA, June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ –

WISeKey announces a strategic partnership with the Chinese BOCO group to jointly
distribute the WISeID solution in the Chinese market and establish a technology center of
excellence in China using BOCO facilities and human resources and a local WISeKey team.

WISeKey will assist BOCO in establishing an IT Security practice in China, with the
likelihood of expansion to other countries in the region. WISeKey will benefit from BOCO’s
strategic positioning in the Chinese territory for the localization of WISeKey’s WISeID
application, as well as further development and enhancement of the solution. The WISeID
solution provides consumers with strong and secure storage of Personal Identifiable
Information to help prevent identity theft.

The first phase of this strategic partnership starts in June with the launch of a new
WISeID adapted for the Chinese market. It will include enhanced features such as face
recognition, strong single-sign on authentication to Chinese social networking platforms
such as RenRen, and synchronization with private clouds.
