KUPA successfully demonstrate its tablet based education solution at Microsoft´s LINC and LEAP event at Computex 2012 in Taipei and attracted many visitors to its booth. Joice Fernandes, the World Wide Leader of the Shape the Future program was very impressed by KUPA´s education solution and shared his vision for the Shape the Future program with the audiences.

KUPA successfully demonstrate its tablet based education solution at Microsoft´s LINC and LEAP event at Computex 2012 in Taipei and attracted many visitors to its booth. One of those visitors is Joice Fernandes, the World Wide Senior Director for Public & Private Alliances at Microsoft and the World Wide Leader of the Shape the Future program. Joice was also integral to the development of the Intel Classmate PC and Digital Inclusion programs in Portugal. Joice was very impressed by KUPA´s education solution and shared his vision for the Shape the Future program with the audiences.
Joice believes that it is important to develop education technology solution that enables governments around the world to spread modern education technology to children. Such solution would improve education quality and gives children the tools to further express their creativity. To do achieve that goal, the solution must be cost effective to meet budgetary requirement and portable enough for children to carry. Joice envisions a durable Windows 8 tablet that supports a wide range of available education software and content. This was exactly the reason why he was impressed by KUPA´s solution as it embodies his vision of a device that can shape the future by empowering the children.
KUPA has been providing mobile technology solution to education market since its inception. KUPA was heavily involved in several distant teaching and learning programs and have built several digital classroom platforms in several developing countries. One such example is in Shanghai where KUPA deployed a complete education solution that included tablet hardware, software and network infrastructure setup. The concept behind such deployment was all pieces of the solution
KUPA is working with Intel and Microsoft to develop mobile business solution that integrates hardware, software and service in a single package to help business meet their technology need. These efforts include both current Windows 7 x86 devices the KUPA X11 and upcoming Windows 8 devices. KUPA spokesman describes KUPA´s collaboration with Intel and Microsoft is on several fronts. On hardware side, the effort is focused on Windows 8 compatibility, OEM support and system optimization. On the software side, the partnerships aim to team KUPA with more independent software vendors to build integrated and customized solutions for enterprise clients.
