Meet the Speakers
Zabrina Hossain joined VFM Leonardo as Product Manager, Emerging Technologies in 2011 and leads product development and innovation projects to align with consumer demands particularly in social media and mobile. Prior to that, Zabrina held the position of Platform Manager for Mobile at Rogers Digital Media. During her time with Rogers, she led the launch of a number of mobile video applications for multiple platforms. She has also worked with a number of startups in the technology field including Bon’App where she led software development and platform design. Zabrina holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and is pursuing a Masters.
Melissa Bruckler is the E-Commerce Consultant for Granite Hospitality – a full-service strategic hotel investment and management company that currently manages the daily operations of 5 hotels in 3 states. Their portfolio includes IHG and Carlson Worldwide properties. Melissa has worked there for 6 years since its inception in 2006 and has over 20 years of hospitality experience in positions ranging from hotel operations, revenue management, opening task force, systems installations/training as well as various management positions.
