New Pogo Storage Reseller Program Brings Nexenta-Certified Open Storage Solutions to Value-Added Resellers
Pogo Storage helps break down the barriers-to-entry for VARs looking to deploy Nexenta Solutions by offering a complete line of engineered solutions, including support, through Pogo´s new Reseller Channel.
Redmond, WA (PRWEB) June 14, 2012
Pogo Storage today announced the launch of the Pogo Storage Reseller Program for Value-Added Resellers (VARs). Open storage, such as Nexenta, offers a significant opportunity for VARs, but many do not have the infrastructure to produce or support Nexenta-certified solutions on their own. Pogo Storage´s new reseller program offers a turn-key solution that makes it possible for VARs to offer complete Nexenta-certified systems to their customers without the need for an upfront investment in engineering or support infrastructure.
Many VARs want to offer Nexenta to their customers, but constrained budgets and limited infrastructure can make that difficult. Some VARs may not have the resources to engineer and produce certified systems, or the support infrastructure to handle Tier 1 support calls from customers. They also may need consultative help with putting the entire solution together, beyond just selling the software.
The Pogo Storage Reseller Program was created to make it easier for VARs to sell complete Nexenta-based solutions. VARs are now able to offer their customers complete, certified solutions, built and supported by Pogo Storage. VARs can leverage Pogo´s years of experience engineering Nexenta solutions in many specific environments and workloads. Pogo´s highly knowledgeable Tier 1 support team and experience in handling RMA logistics ensure that their customers are getting the best support possible.
“With our many years of experience engineering and deploying storage in the most complex and demanding of environments, we recognize the value of what Pogo Storage and Nexenta bring to our product offerings,” said Michael Kupfer, CEO of Black Diamond Technologies. “Being the exclusive reseller for Pogo Storage in the Chicago area has opened up new storage opportunities, and we´re now able to offer solutions to fit nearly every situation.”
“Nexenta is always looking for easier ways for VARs to sell complete Nexenta-based open storage solutions,” said Evan Powell, CEO of Nexenta. “Having one of the longest-running partnerships with Nexenta, Pogo Storage is perfectly positioned with their Reseller Program to provide complete Nexenta based solutions to VARs as a better option to traditional proprietary storage solutions.”
The Reseller program provides many pre- and post-sale benefits, such as three unique program tiers to fit different VAR needs, and opportunity registration. For certain VARs, Pogo also offers a co-marketing program to increase demand generation and protected territories.
“Pogo is focused on giving users better access to technology, so we are thrilled to introduce the Pogo Storage Reseller Program,” said Erik Logan, CEO of Pogo Linux. “Making it easier for VARs to sell complete Nexenta-based solutions on their own is very exciting. Anytime we can give customers Enterprise features without proprietary price structures is a win for everyone.”
